Requesting plugin/theme support

Many things can go wrong with plugins. Sometimes the only option is to report the issue to the plugin author and hope for a fix. Many plugin authors are glad to fix issues however lack enough information in order to reproduce the issue on their end. Here are some tips for writing good docs.

  • Clone production site to staging and deactivate other plugins and activate a default theme to rule out any potential conflicts.
  • Clearly explain what’s happening and what issues you are experiencing including version numbers of plugins.
  • Adding screenshots for extra clarity
