The dashboard is powered by CaptainCore, open source and built in the open. What runs your sites is code you can read.

The bus factor plan
A one-person host raises a fair question. There is a documented plan, escrowed access and a partner ready to take the helm.
Open source
CaptainCore, the platform behind the dashboard, is open source. Take it with you if you ever leave. Most people do not.
Giving back
A share of revenue goes back to the WordPress ecosystem and to Lancaster nonprofits. Hosting money should stay useful.
